Mary Kriner, MD, is an experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist practicing at Winthrop-University Hospital for nearly 20 years. She has extensive experience in all aspects of women's health care, including general obstetrical care, diagnosis and treatment of cervical disease and HPV, menopause management, and non-invasive treatment of such common conditions as uterine fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding.

Dr. Kriner has been a member of the full-time faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winthrop-University Hospital since 1993.  She has held various positions in support of the department, including that of Medical Director of the Women's Ambulatory Care Center, Clerkship Director for the medical student program, and Assistant to the Director of Gynecology.  For several years,
Dr. Kriner directed the breast screening program at Winthrop for the American Cancer Society.

Dr. Kriner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.  She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the SUNY Stonybrook School of Medicine.  Dr. Kriner's expertise has been acknowledged by the Consumers' Research Council of America with multiple listings in America's Top Physicians.
