Our mission is to promote the health of mothers and babies by providing patients and their obstetricians with a comprehensive program for the assessment and care of the high-risk mother and fetus.
The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine has a highly trained staff of experts, including Board Certified Perinatologists, Perinatal Nurses and Imaging Technologists specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. The New Life Center at Winthrop has special exam rooms dedicated to the observation of high-risk patients, in addition to an inpatient, high-risk, antipartum unit. Services include: |
OBSTETRICAL SURVEILLANCE MANAGEMENT is available to diagnose a wide variety of fetal conditions, identify problems early and ensure the best possible outcome for mother and infant. Our Perinatal Testing Laboratory has been granted American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) accreditation in obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound by the Ultrasound Practice Accreditation Commission.
