Surgical Oncology
Surgical oncology at Winthrop’s Institute for Cancer Care focuses on the surgical treatment of a variety of malignancies. Surgeons with special training and years of experience in treating cancers use the most advanced technology and techniques to perform appropriate procedures that will maximize the chances of cure.
The staff, meets regularly with the Hospital’s other cancer specialists, to discuss ongoing care management in a multidisciplinary setting in order to ensure optimal treatment of their patients.
