Welcome to Graduate Medical Education (GME) at Winthrop-University Hospital. With a rigorous curriculum, nationally recognized faculty and first-class clinical and research resources, Winthrop offers 21 residency and fellowship programs - 16 independent programs sponsored by Winthrop and five integrated with other major academic centers. At Winthrop, the attainment of educational goals consistently takes priority over the fulfillment of service needs.
