Pediatric & Adolescent Orthopaedics

Pediatric & Adolescent Orthopaedics covers the surgical and non-surgical treatment of all aspects of musculoskeletal care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults up to age 21. Since children are not simply small adults, especially when continually growing bones and joints are involved, treatment of youngsters with orthopaedic conditions requires exceptional patient and family centered care.

Appropriate diagnosis and treatment of youngsters is provided for a broad range of congenital, developmental, and traumatic musculoskeletal disorders, including treatment at the separate 4,500 square foot Pediatric Emergency Unit. Our orthopaedic surgeons work closely to collaborate care with the hospital´┐Żs Department of Pediatrics.
