Diabetes Education Center

How can I help?

The Winthrop Diabetes Education Center is committed to providing diabetes education and support to people with diabetes of any age. Unfortunately, these essential services are poorly reimbursed by insurers. Please consider a gift to the Winthrop Diabetes Education Center among your charitable giving plans.

You may consider a donation:

in lieu of flowers as part of a memorial gift,

in honor of a family member who lives with diabetes,

to fund a special project.

Gifts to the Diabetes Education Center my be in the form of an outright donation, a pledge payable over time, a bequest in your Will or through the use of other planned giving instruments.

We continually seek volunteers to support our efforts. If you enjoy working with children, assembling teaching tools or sharing your unique talents you can call us at (516) 663-2350 to discuss volunteer opportunities.

You can also help advance diabetes care by participating in research conducted by the Winthrop Clinical Trials Center.
