Winthrop-University Hospital is a tertiary care health resource where advanced technology, clinical expertise, research and all the resources of a major medical center merge to provide care without compromise in a welcoming and world-class environment.

Winthrop's CyberKnife program utilizes a multidisciplinary team of expert surgeons, neurosurgeons, radiation and medical oncologists, radiation therapists, physicists, diagnostic radiologists, technicians, nurses and other specialists. With extensive training in the use of CyberKnife, they first focus their collaborative efforts on reviewing and evaluating each patient's condition to determine whether CyberKnife is an appropriate treatment option. Then they develop and implement a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to each individual's needs.
