  • Matthew R. Witten, PhD, DABR
    Director, CyberKnife Radiosurgery Center

    Matthew Witten, PhD, DABR, is the Director of CyberKnife Radiosurgery. He is the chief physicist in the Division of Radiation Oncology and essential to the development and operation of the CyberKnife Radiosurgery Program.

    Dr. Witten is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, Board Certified in the subspecialty of Therapeutic Radiologic Physics.

    His post-graduate work includes a PhD from Columbia University in Applied Physics, with a concentration in medical physics. He also earned two Master's degrees from Columbia University in applied physics and received his clinical training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

    He is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, American College of Radiology, American College of Medical Physics, Radiological Society of North America and the American Brachytherapy Society.
