    Technical Director, Division of Radiation Oncology

    James Matera Jr. BS, RTT, is the Technical Director of the Division of Radiation Oncology. Prior to joining Winthrop, he served in the same position at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

    In the field for over 15 years, Mr. Matera played a leadership role in developing Winthrop's prostate implant and high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy programs.

    With a Bachelors of Science from New York Institute of Technology, Mr. Matera is currently studying for a Masters in Healthcare Administration.
