Title   OBGYN: Chronic Hypertension and Pregnancy (CHAP)
Summary   The purpose of this research study is to see if it is beneficial to treat mild hypertension during and after pregnancy.
Description   NYU Winthrop Hospital Clinical Trials Center is seeking pregnant participants who are 18 years old or older, and who have been diagnosed with mild high blood pressure, to participate in a clinical research study. This study is designed to evaluate if it is safe and effective to treat mild hypertension during and after pregnancy. Eligible participants will receive study-related investigational prenatal blood tests, medical exams and laboratory tests at no cost, while participating in the study. Reimbursement may be provided for time and travel expenses.

To be eligible for the study, you must:

- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a viable pregnancy less than 23 weeks gestation
- Have previously or newly diagnosed high blood pressure
