|Summary||The Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at NYU Winthrop Hospital is conducting a study of an investigational vaccine for meningococcal disease type B (MnB).|
There are different types of meningococcal disease. Four of the five most common types, A, C, W-135 and Y currently have a vaccine, but there is no vaccine worldwide to prevent meningococcal disease type B.
Eligible participants may receive study-related vaccine, physical exams, and laboratory tests at no cost to them while they are participating in this research study. Compensation may be provided for travel.
