- Rotary Club of Williston Park Makes Generous Donation to Winthrop’s Cancer Center for Kids - Archived

Once again, the Rotary Club of Williston Park displayed their extraordinary commitment to Winthrop-University Hospital’s young patients. Recently, several members of the Rotary Club visited Winthrop’s Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) to present the Center with a $5,000 donation. Present at the check presentation were (l.-r.) Lynn Drucker, Director of Development; Gloria Petralia, Administrative Director of Pediatrics; Linda Sweeney, Pediatric Development Manager for the CCFK; Rotary Club Member Zaree Voskerijian; Warren Rosenfeld, MD, Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Winthrop; Rotary Club Members Nancy Zolezzi, Raymond Haller and Manny Lopez; Kim Krupa, Certified Child Life Specialist; Ashley Carlo, Development Specialist at the CCFK; and Rotary Club Member Karen Wiley.
Winthrop’s Cancer Center for Kids is the largest outpatient facility for treating children with cancer and blood disorders in Nassau County, and is the County’s only member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), a prestigious international consortium of collaborating hospitals recognized as leaders in the treatment of childhood cancers.
