Wantagh, NY, native, Chad Hoffman-Fragale, MBA, SPHR, has been appointed Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Winthrop-University Hospital.

Under the leadership of Stacey Pfeffer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development at Winthrop, Mr. Hoffman-Fragale will support the continued growth and expansion of the 591-bed major academic teaching hospital, which boasts nearly 7,000 employees. His primary areas of responsibility include Recruitment, Compensation, Performance Management and Employee Relations.

A seasoned human resources professional, Mr. Hoffman-Fragale most recently served as the Director of Human Resources for Agfa Corporation. Prior to that, he held Senior Human Resources positions at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers in Manhattan and Auburn Memorial Hospital in Auburn, NY.

Mr. Hoffman-Fragale is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from The State University of New York, Oswego, and a Master of Business Administration from Excelsior College in Albany, NY.
