Do you want to become a better educated advocate for your health? Interested in learning more about the sciences? If so, then come hear from Winthrop-University Hospital experts as you learn about various functions and systems of the body during Winthrop’s Second Annual Mini-Med School Adult Education Program.
This free program begins on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 and will be offered for a total of five weekly sessions through Wednesday, April 9. Topics and sessions include:
Wednesday, March 12: The Cardiovascular and Gastrointestinal systems
Wednesday, March 19: The Reproductive system and Urology
Wednesday, March 26: The Respiratory system, Infectious Diseases and Chronic Disorders
Wednesday, April 2: Ophthalmology and Dermatology
Wednesday, April 9: The Nervous and Musculoskeletal systems
Classes will be held from 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. in the Dr. Martin Spatz Conference Center, located in the lower level of the main Hospital at 259 First Street in Mineola.
