The Winthrop Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care Center will offer a free educational seminar for the community, “Multiple Sclerosis Update,” on Tuesday, October 29, at 7:00 PM. The program will be held at the Winthrop Wellness Pavilion, 1300 Franklin Avenue, Suite ML-5 in Garden City.
Malcolm Gottesman, MD, Director of the Comprehensive MS Care Center and Chief of the Division of Neurology at Winthrop-University Hospital, will focus on comparing existing medications in terms of efficacy, tolerability and safety. A question and answer period will be included in the program.
