NYU Winthrop's Orthopedics team offers weekly office hours so doctors can follow up with patients and assess any new issues. Highly-skilled surgeons who specialize in sports medicine are available if necessary and certified physical therapists assist in prompt recovery.

The NYU Winthrop Concussion Clinic is another vital resource to effectively diagnose, treat and manage athletic injuries. The Clinic uses a multidisciplinary approach with an integrated team of sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, neurologists and psychologists to get patients safely back to their routines.

Sports Community Outreach Educational (SCORE) Programs are also available featuring the latest information on concussion awareness, injury prevention and achieving optimal performance. Continuing education opportunities are offered for athletic trainers and various health professions and the team will host their 4th Annual NYU Winthrop Sports Medicine Symposium in June 2018.
